The 2026 Northeastern Alpine Stewardship Gathering (NEASG) will be held this year on October 29-31 at the Sugarloaf Resort in Carrabasset Valley, Maine, hosted by our event partner, the Maine Appalachian Trail Club.

Here in the in the Northeast, NEASG is the premier conference for alpine science, stewardship, and the arts, and the only one of its kind where researchers, land managers, educators, students, and writers come together to share and celebrate their work to protect the alpine ecosystems of northeastern North America. Every two years this Alpine Gathering happens through support of sponsors—organizations and individuals, that is, who provide a financial gift that directly enables the event's success.

As we look forward to hosting you all in October, we ask you to consider becoming a sponsor. Your sponsorship and donations enables:

• Affordable registration fees, including meals, happy hour, workshops, and field trips
• Free or reduced registration for students and active stewards
• Engaging keynote speaker(s)
• The Guy Waterman Alpine Steward Award & the Emerging Steward Award
• Readings by Waterman Fund's essay contest winners
• Bag lunch & transportation for field trips
