Get Involved. . . Volunteer!

The Waterman Fund recognizes that the Northeast is ancestral land and home to many Indigenous peoples, including numerous Iroquoian and Algonquin-speaking tribes. We stand alongside these individuals and communities who live here now and with those forcibly removed from their homelands. We hope this land acknowledgment will support the dialogues needed in the Northeast and beyond to deepen our perspectives of gratitude, respect, and reciprocity for all living beings.

IN THE U.S.: Algonquin (NY), The Bigelow Range (ME), Cadillac Mountain (ME), Camels Hump (VT), Franconia Ridge NH), Haystack Mountain (NY), Katahdin (ME), Mount Mansfield (VT), Mount Marcy (NY), The Presidential Range (NH), Whiteface Mountain (NY)
