Our biennial meetings are designed for alpine researchers, managers, and stewards to share information, expand their training, and improve the understanding and stewardship of the alpine areas of Northeastern North America.

The 11th Northeastern Alpine Stewardship Gathering will be held on October 25-27 at the High Peaks Resort in Lake Placid, New York. The gathering is being hosted by the Adirondack Mountain Club, in partnership with the Adirondack Chapter of The Nature Conservancy, New York State Department of Environmental Conservation and The Waterman Fund.
Program
Tom Butler, from Tompkins Conservation, will be giving the opening presentation on Friday and Ben Lawhon, from Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics, will be Saturday’s keynote speaker.
